TBB Talks ... Reviews Us Out Of 100

Published on: 7th April, 2019

TBB Talks gathered together some of our friends to review Jordan Peele's sophomore feature film 'US'.

We discuss the themes, the good, the bad and what we give Peele's horror #OutOf100

US tells the story of Adelaide Wilson (Lupita Nyong'o) who, accompanied by her husband Gabe, (Winston Duke), son Jason (Evan Alex) and daughter Zora (Shahidi Wright Joseph) returns to the beachfront home where she grew up as a child.

Haunted by a traumatic experience from the past, Adelaide grows increasingly concerned that something bad is going to happen. Her worst fears soon become a reality when four masked strangers descend upon the house, forcing the Wilsons into a fight for survival. When the masks come off, the family is horrified to learn that each attacker takes the appearance of one of them.

US directed and written by Jordan Peele, also stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen, Anna Diop, Elisabeth Moss.
